Silver Chipmunk Chatter

I guess everyone knows that Biden was declared the winner today. So we can relax for a bit before we start worrying about Trump stealing it. I am making a concerted effort to be joyful today, and not start to worry again until Monday.

So I was the one who got to announce it at work that the election had been called, and I am pleased with that. I saw it on facebook, and was just e-mailing the FWiB when the Kid called me. They were celebrating in the streets in her neighborhood. I also called Oldest Brother to tell him.

The rest of the day was sort of anti-climactic. We got through it, and I came home, and opened on of the bottles of hard cider left over from Halloween. Then I Skyped the FWiB. We had a nice time, and I finished off another bottle of the hard cider.

Then I went to the bedroom intending to read, but ended up listening to Harris and Biden make their acceptance speeches. They both sounded very good.

After that I puttered a bit, and then called Oldest Brother. We talked quite a bit and then I fed the pets and her I am.

I also texted mashfanficchick to see if we could get together tomorrow at the park. Possibly, we'll see.

So that's it for today, but I think it's quite enough.
