Silver Chipmunk Chatter

Started out the day by being a bit late to work. The day went quietly after that until I got my electric bill in e-mail, and let's just say I am going to have to call them tomorrow because something is screwy.

At lunch time I texted mashfanficchick and asked if we could arrange a shopping trip tonight, so we did.

After work I Skyped the FWiB on the way to 20th Ave. where I met mashfanficchick and her mother and we went shopping, first to Target, then to BJ's. Then we took my perishables back here, and her perishables back to her place, and then went out to dinner at Chile's.

And that was the day.

Frustration of the day, the new Lois McMaster Bujold Penric novella, The Orphans of Raspay, is available for download on ibooks and Kindle, but not yet for Nook! Argh!

The FWiB is starting to get ready for his move out of the nursing home. Some shopping has already been done, some will be done tomorrow.

And that was calling Con Ed about my electric bill. Got things straightened out, it was basically their fault, they hadn't been billing me correctly because of the new electric meter, and when that got fixed I got hit with all of it at once. So I fixed up a payment plan for paying it over the next six months. Grrr.

Aside from that, I slept. I Skyped the FWiB for a very short time, because he had to go out to the Social Security office, and then shopping. But that's all.

And of course I went to my meeting, eating first at Boston Market.

It is HOT and HUMID out. Thank God for air conditioning and fans.

On facebook I accidentally sent a friend request to someone from college I didn't like. And he accepted. Now I'm stuck.
