I started the day by having a call with my therapist, which worked out well. Then I puttered around on-line, trying in vain to find a vaccine appointment myself. The kid called me and asked how I was doing, and she said she'd look herself. Then I finally Skyped the FWiB.
After we got done, I called Oldest Brother for the second time, and while we were talking the Kid called back saying she'd found a place. That one filled up before she had a chance to sign me up, but she managed to find this other one in Brooklyn. I called back Oldest Brother, and then I called my boss and she said it was OK to take tomorrow as a medical day to get the vaccine. So that's what I'm going to do.
By then it was almost time for my meeting, so I had that. It was good but small. Then I had dinner and called Oldest Brother again.
Oh, I forgot to say, Oldest Brother got a letter from the Social Security office requesting he call them about his disability case. I e-mailed the guy who helped him put in the application and asked him to help him with the call. So hopefully something is moving on that.
Anyway, that's about all there is to say. I will say I feel like I'm jumping the line getting the vaccine tomorrow, but I'm not. I have a legitimate qualifying condition, being obese, even though I don't feel like I am, or that it's such a big thing, but it is considered a qualifying condition, so there it is, I'm entitled. I need to remember that.
