Picking out a rehab place, found three in Flushing that had five star ratings, one of which is so close to me I can walk to it. So hopefully that's where he'll go, but that's dependent on him being able to get on Medicaid, which is dependent on him not being working, so I have to call each of his jobs up, and have them fax letters stating he isn't working for them. That's for tomorrow.
On Saturday RK is going to take me to the house and I'm going to try to get the room door open. Either by a locksmith or simply by taking the door off the hinges. The landlord's agent said he didn't mind if we broke it open because the inside of the house is going to be gutted anyway. He also refused to come to the house so I have to get Oldest Brother's driver's license from the hospital to show them proof he lives there.
I still need a way to get Middle Brother from his group home to the Kid's for Christmas Eve. I will probably end up taking a train.
Oldest brother seems about the same, he's watching TV and does answer the phone. I talked to him twice today. They also have him doing occupational therapy and physical therapy.
I talked to the Kid twice too, she's worried about her cat.
Skyped the FWiB, all well with him.
Called Middle brother and told him what's up, he's taking it well.
That's about all.
1. The FWiB.
3. My copy of the new Ben Aaronovitch graphic novel arrived today, I was afraid it had been porch-pirated because it was supposed to have arrived Saturday.
4. Helpful hospital staff.
5. Good rehabs in Flushing.
6. Bed soon.
Edited to add: Happy Hanukkah to those who celebrate. It's the first night.
