Another quiet day

Let's face it, they're all quiet now due to Covid restrictions.

So I went to work, got there early, worked, nothing much to say. Oldest Brother texted me about Aunt Helen, and then filled me in later when we talked in the evening. She's home, doing OK, on oxygen, they think it was caused by old damage to her lungs catching up to her. I don't know any more than that.

Anyway, I'm jumping ahead of myself. After work, the Kid called me on the bus, and we talked a bit. The SIL picked up the boxes she's had of his stuff tonight.

Came home and Skyped the FWiB. While we were talking, my doorbell buzzed. It was UPS, with the delivery of my calendars from Barnes and Noble.

After we finished talking I made dinner, and Oldest Brother called while I was doing that. We talked while I ate.

After that I called the Kid, and gave her the news about Aunt Helen. It looks like we are giong to have [personal profile] mashfanficchick and zer mother on Christmas Eve after all... by video call! Should be fun.

Then I fed the pet, and got caught up with my internet reading, and here I am.

Oh. The other person on ship-of-fools who was failing, died over the night. He also will be missed.

Gratitude List:

1. The FWiB.

2. Aunt Helen OK.

3. The Kid moving on.

4. Holiday plans.

5. Quiet day.

6. My calendars came.
