After breakfast I puttered around. I washed the beautiful etched glass dish Mom always used on Thanksgiving for the cranberry sauce and carefully put it away. And I took down all my Thanksgiving decorations, except the turkey lights.
I Skyped the FWiB, which as always was nice. We talked for a good long time. Then I took down the turkey lights and put them away too. So everything is away now. I had a piece of the pumpkin pie with whipped cream, and a glass of eggnog.
I decided the next thing I am reading is another garth Nix book, Angel Mage, so I downloaded that to my Nook and started reading it. Not as enjoyable as the Left-handed Booksellers of London, but quite good.
After I read for awhile I remembered that I had wanted to wrote something for the Starsky and Hutch Advent Calendar, so I came out to the living room and started work. I came up with a pure 100 word drabble. It's called Love in the Time of Covid-19. I'm not totally satisfied with it, but I submitted it anyway. I'll post a link when it's up on the calendar.
I had more leftovers for dinner, still tasting pretty yummy.
Then I went back to the bedroom and fiddled with my phone, facebook and solitaire. And I called the Kid. She's doing well. She said the Boy's grandmother likes her. We discussed plans for Christmas Eve, which is going to be at her place this year, with the Boy.
Then I called Oldest Brother. He's OK, still needs a new place to live, though, and I'm getting quite worried.
I fed the cat and turtle, and had another piece of pumpkin pie with whipped cream. And started here.
I am sad to say that Rosseweisse, from ship-of-fools, died today, as she wanted to go, peacefully and at home with her cats and family. She will be missed.
