Pretty good day

Though last night wasn't so great. Around 3:30 or so I woke up to use the bathroom and couldn't get to sleep for the longest time because I was jittery about, well, everything but especially the election and the state of the country and the world. I considered calling Oldest Brother at work, but didn't, and ultimately e-mailed the FWiB, and made a concerted effort to get back to sleep and did, but it was almost 5 by then.

So today I slept late, and got up, dressed, and took out all my bags of recyclin, and the garbage too while I was at it. And then I went to the bagel shop and got a bacon, egg, and cheese on a roll. Came home and made coffee and had bunch.

Then I puttered around on the computer, until finally I Skyped the FWiB. We had a nice time, and then I put in a Shipt order. Texted mashfanficchick about tomrrow.

Put up some extra Halloween decorations, and went to the bedroom to read while waiting for the order. But the Nook service is still having problems, plus my Nook was almost out of charge, so I couldn't read.

The Shipt order arrived and I put it away, and then mashfanficchick texted me back, and we made plans for tomorrow. So we're going to meet at the park tomorrow at 3.

I put my Nook to charge, and it synched so I could read Song of Sorcery, so I sat on the couch with it plugged into the computer reading.

Then it was time for my meeting, and I started the Zoom. It was pretty good.

After the meeting I had dinner, and then went and waited for Oldest Brother to call. He's doing OK. Then just when i got off with him, the Kid called. She's doing very well.

And then I fed the pets, and started writing this. So except for the nervousness about the election, it's been a pretty good day.
