That was a mistake, because there was pretty heavy traffic and we ended up being about a half an hour late. but we called and told them we'd be late so that was OK.
After we picked him up (and that required having our temperatures taken with one of those hew "zap your forehead" thermometers, so cool!) we used my phone to find the closest McDonald's. Cause that's what Middle Brother wanted, and this was his day.
McDonald's of course wasn't allowing anyone to eat inside, so we ate in the car. Then we drove to Belmont Lake State Park, which is a truly beautiful place. We used to go there when we were kids. We slowly walked around the lake, and saw lots of ducks, geese and swans. There weren't huge numbers of people there, which was nice.
After we finished the circuit of the lake we got ice cream from the two ice cream trucks that were parked there. I got a root beer float, I hadn't had one in years, and I love them.
By the time we finished, Middle Brother was looking like he wanted to go home, so we took him back to the group home. Oldest Brother drove us back to Queens, stopping at a 7"11 on the way where we got soda and I got toilet paper. Then we came back to my place and hung out going through the pictures some more. Then we ordered a pizza for dinner, and had that.
After we ate, he left. He hadn't been gone long when

After that I fed the pets, and Skyped the FWiB for a very brief time. And then Oldest Brother called me to let me know he got home safely.
So aall in all a really lovely day.
