happyCame home and there was a package from the Kid, beautiful agate slices, that she edged in gold and silver. No point to them, they are just decorative. I called the Kid to tell her they came.
Then after that I Skyped the FWiB and we had a nice talk. He's doing OK.
Got off and made dinner, and was just remembering that there is no Thurber reading on Wednesday, when the doorbell buzzed. It was two deliveries, my new unicorn stationery, and my fountain pen!
So I called the Kid and told her they came, and I set up the pen and I wrote some letters. I will mail them soon, Tuesday if not before. The stationery is beautiful and so is the pen. I'm glad I got them.
The Kid called me back to show me some stuff, and then Oldest Brother called, and I talked to him. Now I'm talking to the Kid again.
