The Kid is going to a protest tomorrow, at 1 Police Plaza. I'm pretty worried about that. We have discussed what happens if she gets arrested, and so forth. I would go myself but I'm afraid, at my age, of getting exposed to the virus which is still raging.
So, not a good time.
So aside from all that, to the minutia of life. My staff meeting for today was cancelled. But I went too the ALA webinar on virtual programming.
I Skyped the FWiB. He is doing OK.
I picked up my laundry, so I have clean clothing. That's a good thing. It was a bright sunny day when I went out, very nice.
I watched the Thurber reading, but he reread one he'd already done that I don't like that much anyway, The Greatest Man on Earth.
I made mac and cheese for dinner, just because I was worried and wanted to give myself a treat. So I did. Then I went into the bedroom to wait for Oldest Brother to call. He's doing OK too.
I've been reading Spinning Silver. It is very well written but I'm not in love with it. Still, I will finish it.
