Had breakfast and coffee, and got a brief phone call from the Kid. She wanted to tell me that she took out the piercing studs in her ears and put in her pearl earrings. She sent me pictures, which looked very becoming.
Then I did some work, a Bridge training in defusing conflict, and a webinar on suggestions for going forward with library reopenings. Then I went and read while the FWiB facetimed with his wife. And then we Skyped. Which was nice as always.
After that I went and read some more, until 7:00, when I ordered a gyro through Seamless. I had a $5 perk, if I ordered $15 or more. What I didn't realize was that $15 was before tax and tip, not after. My order was $15 with tax and tip, so that blew the perk. Oh well, at least I got a yummy gyro out of it.
They were very early too, which meant I was done eating well before 8:00, when the Thurber reading was supposed to start. But Olbermann postponed it until 8:30, so I would have had enough time anyway. Oh well. There was some technical difficulty so he cut the scond story short and he'll do that one tomorrow.
After that I read some more until Oldest Brother called and we talked.
And so here we are.
