I read a little, but while I was reading I got a phone call from cousin Steve F who wanted to know how things were. That was very nice, and unexpected.
I Skyped the FWiB, he has his new computer set up so he can Skype from it, and read out loud and not have to switch the screen so we can't see each other while he does. That's a very good thing.
I tried taking a nap, but couldn't sleep, so finally I came out and put a movie on Netflix. I pay for it, I ought to use it occasionally, and if not now, when? I watched Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse, and it was better than I expected.
I paused it for a phone call from J from my meeting. We had a nice talk, it was good to hear her. I had texted her earlier today. Then I paused it again for the Thurber reading, which went off with no technical issues on my end, and no allergy problems on his. Then I had dinner, and then I finished the movie. Then I called Oldest Brother for the third time.
So it was a peaceful day with good stuff for a change. Oh, I bit the bullet finally and put my work e-mail on my phone, not instead of my personal e-mail, but along with it. I'm pleased with myself for that. Now I can check it whenever and wherever, not that I'm likely to be anywhere in the foreseeable future. But it's good to have anyway.
Oh, one exception. The cats really had a fight this morning and Sybil once again spent the day up on the kitchen cabinets.
