Day 14: Did dishes

That was the only thing I did aside from the usual reading, and puttering on-line.

Well, I Skyped with the FWiB, of course. And I listened to Keith Olbermann read James Thurber. That's it, though.

However, the Kid posted on Facebook an article from People magazine that told how the Girl Scouts were not selling cookies door to door this year, because of the virus, but were selling them on-line. So I ordered six boxes for myself and one to donate to health workers. So that's something.

I finished Dragonstar, so I have finally, after 20 years since the third one was written, finished the series. At last I know how that cliff-hanger ending to the third book resolved! A 20 year itch has been scratched. Also Barbara Hambly wrote 4 novellas, "further adventures", which are available for my Nook. So far I've read the first one, and downloaded the second.

Tomorrow I have a staff meeting. After that I shall go to the drug store.

Gratitude List:

1. The FWiB.

2. Girl Scout cookies!

3. James Thurber.

4. Everyone I know is, so far, healthy

5. Good books.

6. Getting out tomorrow.
