The Kid convinced me to switch them around, shut Oreo in the bedroom and give Sybil the run of the rest of the apartment. So I did.
It was not a fantastic success. Oreo scrabbled at the bedroom door and yowled to get out, while Sybil climbed up on top of the kitchen cabinets and stayed there.
The Kid says to keep it up longer. I don't know.
But anyway, aside from that my day was the usual round of reading, and puttering on line. Of course I Skyped the FWiB, we were interupted after about 45 minutes by a call from his wife, but he Skyped back afterward and we talked for a further 15 or so minutes.
I called the Kid and told her the experiment wasn't working, that's when she said to give it more time.

And at 8:00 I watched Keith Olbermann read Thurber. Tonight, The Catbird Seat, and The Unicorn in the Garden.
Now waiting for Oldest Brother to make his nightly call.
