Got to work at 9:00, and worked, nothing particularly dramatic happened. Except that I got the new Jonathan Kellerman Alex Delaware mystery. I actually had a hold on it, but that didn't come in today, probably will on Monday, but I had been looking forward to reading it over the weekend. Then someone returned a copy, right into my hand! And there was no hold on it, so instead of needing to send it out, I was able to check it out myself. I'll cancel the hold when it comes in, and read the copy I have over the weekend.
After work I ate at Boston Market as usual on Fridays. Then I Skyped the FWiB, and we had a nice long conversation. He went to the pulmonologist today, and they can't do anything about his coughing, but his lung function has actually improved since the summer. So yay!
Then went to my meeting, and that was good.
Came home, and there is something from the management company about window guards, which I don't need, and which I sent in by mail a week ago. But apparently my mailed resonse didn't reach where it's supposed to go so now I have to give this to the super. Phooey.
Last night after I posted here I got myself motivated and picked out something from Julie and Matt's wedding registry and ordered it. Next thing, I need a dress.
Oh other bit of family news Sara and Fabian, who's wedding I went to the year before last, just had their baby, a girl, which we knew. Yay! So now Betsy is a grandmother three times over, Linda is a grandmother, and Sue is going to be a grandmother, (did I mention here Ricky and Martha are expecting?) but I guess I never will be. It kinda' makes me sad, but what can you do?
Oh well. Tomorrow is movie day with my brothers. That should be fun.
