Then after we got off, I looked up the movie Ladyhawke. I found it on Youtube for rent or purchase, so I paid $3.99 for the rental, and watched it. It had been a long time since I saw it. I truly love that movie, everything about it is perfect to me. It has bittersweet memories attached to it too... it was a favorite of my ex-husband's as well, as was thhe star, Rutger Hauer. So there's that. Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
After that I texted the Kid, and she ended up calling, and we talked for a long time. I am going over to her place tomorrow to hang out and give her a hand unpacking and putting stuff away.
After that I puttered on my phone, and finally had dinner.
When I went to get back on the computer I had a scary thing happen. The laptop would not recognize any wifi connections, not only mine, but any of the others around here. It simply said there were no wifi connections available. I knew my connection was working because my phone could use it, but the computer said it wasn't there. I did the only thing I could think of to do, I restarted the computer. I had to turn the wifi on manually, it didn't automatically come on, but it recognized the connection and logged in when I did. So that's OK. But it was scary! I was thinking I'd have to get an expensive fix.
So that's my day.
