Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree

Got up, breakfasted and coffeed, then showered and washed my hair and dressed. And then I Skyped the FWiB until Oldest Brother arrived.

I had already set up the tree and put the box back behind the TV, so we could start as soon as we had some spiced cider and toasted with it, and set up the ch player with Christmas songs.

We decorated about half way, and then took a break for eggnog and cookies. Then we finished the tree, and put up the rest of the decorations, the garland over the living room entryway, the star lights draped over the TV, my few paper decorations, the stockings, and the figurines. At some point in the proceedings the cd player stopped working and we put the cds in the computer instead.

Anyway, it's all finished now and looks very festive. I am happy.

I called the Kid after we finished, she was in a bad state. We talked for awhile while Oldest Brother napped. She called back after a bit and we talked some more.

After Oldest Brother woke up we called in a pizza, and had dinner. And then he had to go. Since then I have been reading the Mercedes Lackey book. I have gotten more into it now.

And that's pretty much the day.

Gratitude List:

1. The FWiB.

2. Oldest Brother.

3. The Kid.

4. [personal profile] mashfanficchick, for being supportive of the Kid today.

5. My tree is up!

6. Christmas music.
