Anyway, after the meeting Oldest Brother picked me up, and we stopped at the drug store and picked up my scrips. Then we went to Petco, and I got more turtle food, and a net for scooping gunk out of the turtle's tank. And we rejoiced that I did not have to spend the money to replace Oreo's collar and tag, since I found it!
After Petco we went to Target and I did some needful shopping, and Oldest Brother got some things too. And finally we went to BJ's, though he stayed in the car while I went in.
Went back to my place and took all the stuff in. Then we went to the Indian place that mashfanficchick and her mother like going to, but their buffet was over, so we ended up getting sushi from a place next door. Because nothing says "Day with your sibling" like raw fish on rice. It was pretty good, and we got the party platter for two, which was cheaper than two separate dinners, so we got dessert too, red bean moochi ice cream.
Came home and changed the light bulb in my bedroom, which is always terrifying because the only way to reach it is by putting the ladder actually on the bed. But we had success. He put more water in the turtle tank too.
WE read facebook together for some time, and then he took a nap, and I Skyped the FWiB for a sadly brief while.
Odd thing of the day. At 3:51 pm, I got a text message from a number that wasn't recognized by my phone. It simply read "Ggg". Just three gs. It was only later when I took a closer look that I recognized the number myself. My ex-husband's number. I assume that it was a butt-text of some type, he hasn't been in contact since the divorce in 2012, and why would he text me that anyway? But it means that he keeps my number in his phone contact list. Which is a weird thing. I shall simply ignore it.
Meanwhile, today is the glorious holiday (howliday?) of Wolfenoot. If you don't know what that is, google it. Since I am a cat person, not a dog person, I did not celebrate, but I wish all the dog people on my f-list a happy Wolfenoot. Awrooo!
