Veterans Day

Got up, coffeed and then showered and dressed. I got email from cousin Steve about Thanksgiving weekend, so I was able to order my train ticket. It was $105!! But worth it for a weekend away, especially since I'll get driven home by the Kid and SIL.

Then went to Dunkin' Donuts for breakfast. On the way there got a call from [profile] mashfanficchiick about meeting her for lunch. So after breakfast I cleaned out the pockets of my good warm coat, and took it down to the dry cleaners, and then headed over to meet her.

We went to the Indian buffet place we've been to before, and had a good time. After lunch her mom drove me home, and I Skyped the FWiB until we lost the connection, and then we continued by phone. Today is, as well as being Veterans Day, our tenth anniversary of being more than friends. I still remember that first kiss... wowza!

Anyway, after that I puttered on my phone for awhile, and dozed a bit. Then finished the dishes I started yesterday. Since then I've been puttering on the computer, particularly facebook.

Tomorrow I have another 9:30 class, so I have to be up extra early. Hopefully it'll go as well as the last one did.

To all and any veterans on my flist, thank you for your service.

Gratitude List:

1. The FWiB... happy 10th anniversary.

2. The Kid, had her moving day today, said it was going well.

3. [personal profile] mashfanficchick

4. Veterans, for their service.

5. Beautiful weather.

6. My family.
