Stayed home again after all

I feel better but still sick, wish I could take another day but I really should get back.

Having nothing in the house for breakfast (I finished my milk and cereal yesterday) I threw on clothing and went to the bagel place for breakfast and coffee. Got a bacon, egg, and cheese on a roll. Then went next door to the discount store and got some orange juice.

That was it for the day though. Aside from talking to the FWiB (once again the Skype connection broke and we ended up on the phone) the only tangible thing I did was finish the Mercedes Lackey book I downloaded yesterday. Which left me feeling decidedly annoyed at the ending. Lackey usually does better I think. I also puttered on the computer and my phone. Played lot of solitaire.

My meeting ended up being cancelled, because M has a broken toe, I'm sick, and S wasn't coming. So we cancelled. Just as well, though it's a pity cause Friday's meeting is cancelled too.

Texted [personal profile] mashfanficchick to give her Yom Kippur greetings, and she texted back. We are not, of course, meeting tomorrow for Carvel.

And that's about it.

Gratitude List:

1. The FWiB.

2. Feeling better.

3. My meetings and the people there, even when we have to cancel.

4. Having the time to take off.

5. The bagel place.

6. Orange juice.
