The book I ordered came!

The Wounded Sky by Diane Duane. I loved that Star Trek novel so much. Diane Duane is a great author.

Anyway, aside from that the day was good. I overslept but made it to work on time anyway, which I am proud of. Work was unexpectedly busy for school still not having started. We had a person from another branch come and work because we were so short staffed, and that was fun.

After work I called the FWiB and we talked through Flushing. Then I went to my meeting and that was very good, we had a new person who may come back.

Came home and found the book was here. So happy to see it!

I should mention I've been having a problem with sending email on my phone today. Over and over the sending failed. If it isn't just a temporary glitch, and keeps up I'll have to see someone in T-Mobile about it.

Got e-mail from Betsy, repainting the cottage starts tomorrow. And Sue posted in the OOPA facebook group, the bank project starts tomorrow too, the heavy machinery started arriving today.

So that's all exciting.

And I'm seeing the Kid in the city tomorrow!

Gratitude List:

1. The FWiB.

2. My meetings and the people there.

3. The Kid.

4. Painting the cottage, and fixing the bank.

5. Meeting new people.

6. Got my book I ordered.
