mashfanficchick and her mother were late picking me up, and we spent some time getting food at Koryodang, so we ended up being an hour late to the winery. That's OK, though. Sadly, mashfanficchick had breathing problems because of the barbeque that was going for the private party that was being held at the same time. She left with her mother, and I stayed with the rest of the Torchwood group. We had a good time, I had several glasses of wine, and then the smoke was gone so I called her to come back. So we all got a chance to socialize after all.Then it was time to go. It took much longer too get home than it should have, the traffic was very bad. I had been e-mailing the FWiB whenever he had internet access, so I arranged to call him at 8:00, by which time I should have been home but wasn't. We had a nice conversation anyway. He is settling in to the new place I think.
Got home and set my new debit card up on my Nook, then preordered the next Ben Aaronovitch, False Value, which will be out in November, and ordered the new Gay Gavriel Kay, A Brightness Long Ago. But I will save reading it for the cottage next week.
Now waiting for Oldest Brother to call. The insomnia from last night is starting to catch up with me, I will be going to be pretty quickly after we talk I think.
