Got up and discovered the milk had turned, so I pulled on clothes and went and ate at Dunkin' Donuts. Came home and spent most of the day struggling with my computer to fix whatever is preventing me from downloading updates to Windows.
Had a partial success. I am up to date now for the month for the version of Wnindows 10 I have, 1803. However, my computer informs me that I should upgrade to version 1903 because 1803 isn't going to be supported after I think November. So I tried to install the update and the same thing happened as happened before. An error. I am tired of fighting it, considering taking it to a repair place and paying for a fix. We'll see.
Aside from that, mashfanficchick and I were going to go out shopping tonight but she ended up sleeping instead, so I went to my meeting. Skyped the FWiB on the way. Ended up waiting almost an hour for a 50 bus, while three of them passed me going in the other direction. Weird.
I was running so late that rather than go to Boston Market I just went to the pizza place and had two slices. And was almost late anyway. But I wasn't. And the meeting was good.
Now about yesterday. mashfanficchick texted me in the morning about the concert and I said yes.
After work I took the 6 train into Manhattan, Skyping the FWiB as long as the train was above ground, to Union Square and met her at Panera. We went to the poke place for dinner, which was delicious, and then to the Nutella Cafe for dessert. Which was also delicious.
Then went to the venue, the City Winery. Who knew there was an actual functioning winery in Manhattan? They have their grapes shipped from California and make the wine in the city! Anyway, the group was fantastic and we had a great time.
Afterward we took the E train back to her stop and her mother met us and drove me home. So a good time was had by all.

3. Irish music.
4. My friends.
5. My meetings and the people there.
6. Had the day off today so it was possible to go out last night.
Edited to add: Forgot to say, when I got back from my meeting I discovered my copy of Water Weed, the new Rivers of London graphic novel, had arrived! Can't wait to read it!
