Met her in Starbucks, got something to eat and drink there. Then we went into Manhattan to the theater.
Got there just in time to see all the previews before the movie. She had bought the tickets yesterday, I bought the snacks, and I have to admit I pigged a little.
The movie is very good. I won't say great, but very good. It had much to say, and it said it well. I enjoyed it a lot. And Emilio Estevez was adorable. And i am very glad I got to see it.
After the movie I went into the ladies room, and ran into someone I knew slightly from the old days at work. She's retired now I think, but she recognized me and with a little prompting I remembered her, so that was nice.
Then I turned on my phone and the Kid had called me. I called her back and got into a long discussion with her about Oldest Brother and some financial issues. So we straightened everything out over the course of some back and forth calls.
And then we went back to Queens, and
And that was the day.
