Pretty good day

Though there was something a bit ghoulish in the morning. Apparently a man was killed in a hit-and-run at the bus stop where I get off for work. It was all taken care of by the time I got there cause it happened at 4 am, but there were still news vans there, which is how I found out.

But that aside it was a pretty good day, starting with the Kid calling me last night. At a horrible hour, mind you, but it's always good to hear from her.

Today work was pretty normal I got 15 for the laptop program, which is very good.

After work I Skyped the FWiB, but we didn't talk too long cause he was coughing. Then after we got off I went to dinner at Burger King, and then refilled my metrocard.

Went to my meeting, which was particularly good because J was there after a lapse of many months. Good to have her back.

Today is Middle Brother's actual birthday, so Oldest Brother and I each called him. We are having a big joint party for everyone in March on the 30th, that's Middle Brother, Denise, me and Brianne.

The Kid just called again, and she is able to come to the party on the 30th, so we're all set.

Gratitude List:

1. The FWiB.

2. My meetings and the people there, particularly J.

3. Family.

4. Nice sunny day, though chilly.

5. Still have my warm coat out.

6. My pets.
