Anyway, the day started out with getting up and Skyping the FWiB after coffee and breakfast. Then he had to go and get ready to go to the track for exercise, and I puttered around on line and paid my phone bill. Did some work on the story I've been working on, too.
Then went to go read but ended up taking a nap instead. After that I got up, puttered on line again, then took a shower and got dressed.
At a few minutes after 5:00 I went on line and checked out the jury summons number. I am happy to say I don't have to report on Monday. But of course I have to call Monday night to find out about Tuesday. It's unavoidable I'll have to go in one day at least, my number is too low to escape it. I just hope I don't miss the all day meeting scheduled for Thursday, about the 50th anniversary of Stonewall. We'll see.
Anyway after that I walked to the bus stop, Skyping the FWiB on my phone. We talked for awhile, it's better than not talking at all but not totally satisfactory either.
Ate at Boston Market as usual. Then went to my meeting, which was not in the usual room because the peron who picks up the key couldn't get it in time. The rectory is closing at 5 now, not 7, which is a bummer.
The meeting was good but small and ended early so I was expecting to have to wait awihle for the bus... but then, as reported above, the bus was really late and I froze.
My boss messaged me today, I left my keys in my locker door last night. So I won't be able to get in until someone lets me in tomorrow. I have to go get some half and half though, that will kill some time.
And I need to go to bed now.
