The trick-or-treaters started showing up at 3:00 or so. Just as predicted every year, swarms and hordes and masses of them. But oddly, we didn't run out of stuff this year.
Anyway, things were in full swing when Dani came back from taking the kids to see some friends who were also trick-or-treating in the area. And that's when she tripped over the extension cord we had plugging in the cd player Oldest Brother was playing Halloween music on, fell down the front doorstep, and that was that.

Didn't get to call the FWiB but we e-mailed all day so that was OK.
Another annoyance, I went to pay my rent and found they are charging me that $128 that I paid back in July to bring the security deposit up to the current rent. So I will have to call them tomorrow.
