It was an utterly normal day

Though very lovely weather. One interesting thing, I may have discovered an Agatha Christie novel I haven't read. There are few of these, if any. But I'm not totally sure if I read Crooked House or not. I'm reading it at work, and see how it goes.

I did the gaming program, got three well-behaved kids, which is good.

After work I called the FWiB, we had technical issues, kept losing the connection. Got home and Skyped and had technical issues with that too. And he still has that cough, so we ended early.

Did I ever write in here about Winter of the Birds? It's a children's novel by Helen Cresswell, from the 70s that I read as a kid that's stayed with me all this time in my memory. Not the title, I found that out the other day when I finally attempted to google it, and got lucky. But the major plot points. Anyway, after googleing it and finding the author and title, I went on Amazon and discovered that I could get a copy from their used book dealers. So I ordered one. It just shipped today. So when it gets here, I will discover if it lives up to my memories or not.

Anyway, that's about all there is to say.

Gratitude List:

1. The FWiB.

2. Amazon and Google.

3. Good books.

4. Beautiful weather.

5. Rice pudding for dessert.

6. Quiet day.
