So today I got my taxes done

Got up and made coffee and made it to my appointment with the tax preparer on time. It all went very well except I forgot my checkbook at home so i had to pay him in cash from the bank across the street. Bummer.

Then I did a little shopping, got my face waxed, and had lunch at the diner on the corneer of the street I used to live on, in a fit of nostalgia.

Came home through Flushing and refilled my metrocard. Then went home and, forgetting that I needed to go to the drugstore to pick up my prescriptions, puttered on the computer for awhile and took a nap.

Got up and did some stuff around the house, then went in to the Bronx for dinner at Boston Market and my meeting. called the FWiB on the bus, he wasn't feeling too good so we didn't talk long.

My meeting was very good, with two new people.

Came home and nearly missed the bus, because after quite a few weeks of lulling me into false security by coming late, tonight it came early. But I made it.

And now it's time for bed.

Blessed Good Friday to all who celebrate it, and Happy Passover to all who celebrate it.

Gratitude List:

1. The FWiB.

2. My taxes are done. And I got a nice refund.

3. My meetings and the people there.

4. Didn't miss the bus.

5. Did miss the rain.

6. Umbrellas.
