New ship and new boards

Today was the day that ship-of-fools changed the boards. I re-registered and got signed in and looked around. Truthfully I liked the old ones better but maybe that's just nostalgia, and once I get used to these I'll like them more. Tonight I got my old icon, which I saved from the old boards, uploaded and I feel more like myself now.

Work was OK. I was supposed to do a STEM program but no one came. It was beautiful weather so I'm not surprised everyone was outside.

After work I called the FWiB and we talked while I went to 20th avenue where [personal profile] mashfanficchick and her mother picked me up. We went to blaze, where we had pizza, and then instead of Carvel went to the Cheesecake factory where we had dessert of, unsurprisingly, cheesecake, for which we both had free slice cards. I Had banana cream cheesecake. YUM!!! Dani called [personal profile] mashfanficchick while we were there and I talked to her a bit.

Got an automate phone call today about some paperwork I had forgotten I had to send in regarding lead paint, window guards, and fire safety. Tonight I found the form, have to fill it out and send it tomorrow.

Gratitude List:

1. The FWiB.

2. Free cheesecake.

3. Friends.

4. A flock of birds against the blue sky.

5. Quiet day at work.

6. Bed soon.
