Also I managed to figure out how to get the corrected version of Lois McMaster Bujold's new novella. It had been sold with a badly formatted file, which means 14 paragraphs, the last of 14 chapters, were missing. The corrected version had been posted, but I had bought the uncorrected version. But I figured out that if I archived it, turened the Nook off and on again, and then unarchived it, it uploaded the corrected version. Yay.
The FWiB called briefly, and then mashfanficchick and her mother came, and we went out to dinner at Friday's after we picked up my laundry from the laundromat. It was absolutely pouring a deluge all day.
After dinner we went to her mother's, got some stuff out of the attic, then went to her place and started setting up our Halloween goodie stuff. We are involved with the Teal Pumpkin Project, to provide Halloween goodies that are safe for kids with allergy restrictions. We aren't giving out candy this year at all, just toy stuff, and we have teal pumpkins.
After we finished all that we went out for ice cream, because the rice pudding we were going to have for dessert had gone bad.
And now I am home and ready to go to bed.
1. The FWiB.
3. Rain stopped before I came home so we weren't hauling my clean laundry in a drenching downpour.
4. Figured out how to get the corrected version of the novella on my Nook.
5. Clean laundry for tomorrow.
6. Don't have to go to work tomorrow.
