Frustrating day

The guy who was supposed to come and fix my ceiling and floor didn't show up until 1:00, although actually he showed up at 8:30 and (I thought) said he'd be back after 9. But he had a thick accent, so he may have said he'd be back after noon. Anyway, he fixed the ceiling and floor but says he needs to come back to finish up a second coat of paint.

I discovered that there is a toggle on my door which changes it from not locking automatically when you shut it, which is how I've always had it, to locking automatically. And it's more difficult to get back in. I discovered this coming back from Dunkin' Donuts, where I went for food after the guy left. Very anxiety provoking, until I got it unlocked and open.

The FWiB called, he had chemo again today, but a shorter infusion, and no reactions this time.

Oldest Brother went to the doctor today, the results of his bloodtests were not good, he has to go back for more tests, and the doctor put him on more medications.

I went to my meeting, first having a couple of slices of pizza for dinner. All is good.

Gratitude List:

1. The FWiB.

2. Oldest Brother.

3. My meetings and the people at them.

4. Friends.

5. Saw a raccoon on my way home from the bus stop.

6. Air conditioning.
