I met up with them, and we were heading out for dinner when Theo suddenly started sobbing and complaining his arm hurt. Long story short, turns out he somehow had a dislocated elbow. We tok him to an Urgent care place, and they popped it back in easy as pie, and he was fine, but the time it took killed the evening. We ended up eating at Qdoba, which was yummy.
This morning we slept later than we should have but got there in time anyway, thanks to mashfanficchick's mother driving us. As usual we marched with the Queens Bisexual Network and PFLAG, which always march one right after the other because the same person, Larry, is in charge of both. The parade is short but very fun, and there is a festival afterward, both LGBTQ stuff and local ethnic stuff. So we grabbed some food and walked around, pushing Theo in the stroller of course.
After that it started to rain a little. We met up with mashfanficchick's mother and drove to New Jersey to take Theo home, but first we went to the Woodbridge mall and let him run around the play area. The FWiB called and we talked while he was doing that. Then we ate at Red Robin and took Theo home. So I got to say hello and finally meet Winnie, who is now a month old and wearing clothing for a 3-6 month old. Big baby. Adorable. I got to hold her and she is so sweet. *sigh* I really hope The Kid changes her mind about not wanting kids, I would love a grandchild.
Anyway, on the way back home we stopped in Manhattan at Venario's for pastry. Delicious!
Home now and all well, time for bed! The boss texted me earlier and said he got sick this weekend and could I work 11-7 tomrrow instead of 10-6, which gives me an extra hour of sleep, but I still need to get going!
2. The FWiB.
6. The rain held off for most of the parade.
