Anyway, then we went to 2nd and Charles, a wonderful bookstore like the lovechild of a union between The Strand and Forbidden Planet birthed in a Barnes and Noble. The Kid bought me a tee shirt for my Mother's Day gist, and I bought myself books. A couple of Mercedes Lackys, a copy of Paladin of Souls for Oldest Brother so he can stop borrowing mine, the P C Hodgell book which combines God Stalk and it's sequel, which I used to own but no longer did. And had just been thinking about very recently. An Ellen Kushner, Thomas the Rhymer. and from their free books out front, a Jonathan Kellerman Alex Delaware mystery I don't think I've read. Happiness!
We went to Wegman's after that for a snack and some shopping. I got sushi, cause nothing says day with the kids like raw fish on rice.
Then we came back to the house and read cozily for several hours. The FWiB called and we had a short conversation, and then we went out to dinner at a crepe restaurant. Delicious!
And now we are reading again, and I borrowed the SIL's computer for this post.
