4th of July
Started out by going to my meeting, and I actually made it in time to go to the beginners meeting beforehand. So I felt good about that. Got a ride home, and a chance to talk to someone, which was also good.

Then The Husband and The Kid and I went down to the park for a few hours. We didn't stay long though, because it turned out that they didn't have the bathroom open.

So then we watched Ghost in the Shell. Then The Husband went down and got us sandwiches, and we watched more Ghost in the Shell.

The The kid and I went out for a wakl. By then it was dark, and we went in search of illegal fireworks to watch. And by happy coincidence we ran into Christy, The Kid's old friend! (Not Christina, her old lab partner) She was talking her little sister and brother out for a walk with the same intent. So we all went on together, and it was really nice. I was very happy to see her again. We walked all around and saw some very nice stuff.

Then we came back and watched more Ghost in the Shell. And now it's time for bed.

Gratitude List:

1. The day went as well as it could.

2. Saw Christy again.

3. Good time with The Kid.

4. Independence!

5. Still a day off.

6. Seeing Mom and Oldest Brother tomorrow.
