The FWiB's brother has apparently changed his mind about allowing me to communicate with the FWiB. He e-mailed me today saying I could call him at the number he gave, only after 6:30, and to be discreet. Of course after 6:30 I called, the number is the front desk of the nursing home and they tried to connect me but he didn't pick up. I left a message at the desk saying just that "Real first name" had called. Hopefully when I try calling tomorrow he'll maybe figure it's me and pick up. Also, since the bother said nothing about writing, I'm going to send a card. Discreet of course, just friendly. But it's amazing, like an answered prayer.
Another bit of news, Betsy's younger daughter Katie is pregnant! She's a little older than The Kid, who was not really enthused about the news.
Did not hear from the vet about Spyder's urinalysis. Will have to call tomorrow.
Called the Kid, had a nice talk.
Started the dya with therapy, which was good. Then work, then dinner at Boston Market, then my attempt at calling the FWiB, then my meeting, which was very good.
